More than four decades since our inception, we are the longest operating enterprise in Western, Upstate New York exclusively dedicated to performing CFO and controllership responsibilities.
We are a boutique firm focused on close, impactful relationships with a limited, select set of clients.
Passion for entrepreneurship, strong management practices and manufacturing and technology businesses have been the underpinning of our work. This grew from founder William Krauses’ early career providing management assistance to portfolio companies of a venture capital firm. Within these businesses, he saw an important need for a strong financial manager to successfully achieve growth and financial performance, however, an inability to afford one full-time.
Since our inception, more than forty businesses have benefited from our contributions working as an integral part of their management team. The impact and value of our work is evidenced by engagements typically lasting five years or more, some exceeding eighteen years.
We combine financial management sophistication with the management cost accounting expertise necessary to go “under the hood” and provide business focus by identifying the most profitable activities and customers and working to transform those that are not.
Operating as Financial Management Associates since our formation in August of 1981, our firm was renamed Infused CFO Works, Inc. in 2026. This was a name change for strengthened brand clarity, only. There was no change in firm ownership or our business activities. It marks the beginning of an exciting new period of progression doing the work we love to do and are wholly committed to.
